When I was writing my fourth book and reached out to an historian about the limits of depicting slavery in fiction and he told me straight up that anything that I could think of that might've happened during slavery, most likely it happened.

That was the most horrific statement I've ever heard.
"How bad slavery was" is worse. Much worse. Much worse than you think, much worse than you're taught, much worse than museums depict. Worse.

Instead of waiting for (redacted or doctored) Epstein files, media should publish court docs alleging that Trump raped Katie Johnson at Epstein's home when she was 13.

Why ignore what alleged victims have to say while giving adjudicated or alleged perps unlimited air time?
