I honestly had a hard time even grasping how this method is supposed to work at all. It feels so completely alien to what’s been my reading experience my entire life.
Someone posted about this (& ofc it's lost to my feed) but this makes sense why so many adults I know struggle to read text books, why many people jump to visuals to understand things (articles especially), & how some mass media distorts people's understanding via disingenuous imagery

I think Western Culture’s biggest failure was putting three dogs up in the sky (technically four, since Canes Venatici are two for one) and not a single cat.
