Great tip! I tried it and it seems to be working!
QUICK PSA:

If you want a "Discover" Feed that ACTUALLY WORKS.

This "For You" Feed is GREAT. It finds others who liked the same posts as you and filters in more posts they've also liked. I've tried it and so far so good!

Pin it in place of "Discover" and try it! 💫

Eat the moon indeed!

If you have not listened to the Skate Story soundtrack, you should.

If you have not played the game, you should also do that!
All of the music in SKATE STORY can be streamed on all platforms, including Twitch and YouTube, without copyright strikes.

Go on, eat the Moon.

Still curious about this if anyone else could weigh in!

It's OK to answer #1 with "I've never heard of it", by the way.
I have two questions for you more seasoned gamers.

1) If I mention the Magnetic Scrolls adventure game "The Pawn," how big of a classic would you say it was in the 1980s?

2) And also, what part of the world are you from?

I'm curious to see if my hypothesis is true.

I started Tactical Breach Wizards on my Steam Deck last night, and I think it's going to be one of my games this week.

It's like X-Com meets Into the Breach - cool strategic gameplay, but in a more distilled style with a puzzle aspect to each level and the ability to try moves before committing.

There are many remixes from Mega Man 2's soundtrack and Dr. Wily's Stage 1, but this one changes things up by adding in strings and infusing a fantastic sense of drama into the tune.

It's "Dr. Wily Symphonic" by Takashi Tateishi, remix by Blue.Nocturne

Archon II: Adept is not nearly as well-regarded as the original Archon, but I encourage players new and old to give it a chance - it's much more like Magic: The Gathering and it's a far deeper game strategically.

The Classic PC Gaming Era (1977-1989) - Archon II: Adept
If the original Archon: The Light and the Dark is like chess, its sequel is closer to Magic: The Gathering in this exciting two-player head to head strategy game from Free Fall Associates.

So here's my quick review on Terminator 2D: No Fate.

It's awesome, BUT - the fact that you have to start over every time you run out of continues sucks, and hard.

Arcade mode, at the very least, should allow you to pump in infinite quarters to see what the game has to offer.

They need to fix this

I finished this very silly game today.

If you have ever taken a college philosophy course as a Gen Ed requirement, you will love this game. It offers a dialogue at the start of each challenge to explain the concept and then goes nuts with off the wall applications and great narration.

I loved it!
Thought Experiment Simulator on Steam
This is a stupid game that might include Trolley Problem, Ship of Theseus, Brain in a Vat, Infinite Monkey, Sisyphus, Prisoner's Dilemma, Schrodinger's Cat, etc.

Quoted for truth!
It feels so nice to be part of the bluesky gaming community.

I love seeing everyone’s posts about what they’re playing, what they’re excited for, opinions etc..

It’s beautiful.

I've never seen a technology that is being forced on people faster, or with less regard for their wants or needs, than LLMs.

Even the Internet and online shopping had a far slower adoption curve than this.

The race to the future is not about you and me. It's about the egos of billionaires.

I love this trippy @ocremix.org track that adds some electronica and strings to the already great music from Chrono Trigger.

It's "Jewel of Enhasa" by Yasunori Mitsuda, remix by Omni-Psyence and TeraCMusic

Spotted in my Lego catalog - a $20 kit that looks like a Chinese retro gaming handheld!

And it's a 3-in-1 set you can also make into a computer or arcade cabinet!

On the show, I also recommend a more modern game each week.

This week is @perfectlyparano.bsky.social's The Holy Gosh Darn, a tremendously funny Adult Swim-style action adventure game with time travel mechanics where you play as an angel who has to save Heaven.

I cannot recommend it enough!

It's launch day! Every Sunday this year I'll be putting up a new episode of my podcast, The Great Game Guide.

Much like my written content, we'll be talking about games that are not as well known today, but the show's focus is exploring game genres and categories.

Give it a listen!

I think tomorrow I'm going to play The Beginner's Guide, Davey Wreden's lesser-known game between The Stanley Parable + Wanderstop.

It looks quite esoteric, but interesting.

I have it in my Steam library - not even sure how I got it! (Probably a game bundle somewhere.) So I might as well play it.

I'd just like to give a nod to C418, game composer extraordinaire.

Beyond Minecraft's iconic soundtrack and Cookie Clicker's Steam release tunes, he says he put years into Wanderstop's music, and it shows.

Here's Wanderstop's full OST. Enjoy it! It's soothing and absolutely elevates the game.

Yeah, and there are kids who claim the Star Wars prequels are the best movies in the series.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, I guess!

Back in the 1990s when Space Quest V came out, my brother spent $50 of birthday money on it and we beat it in a single afternoon.

It was a disappointing way to spend $50, but we loved every minute of the game itself.

By contrast, I spent $20 on Dune II and we played it for months. We loved it too.
January 11, 2026 at 4:43 AM
I am totally here right now for games that take under 10 hours and cost $20 or less. They suit me just fine.

It's a great way to be able to enjoy many games in a month without having to spend the time or money on a boring midgame or features I don't want or need.

Just rolled credits on Wanderstop. I recommend it just as strongly having finished it. It's dreamlike but also grounded; cozy and yet hard-edged; ambiguous and yet clear.

It's also tremendously funny and enjoyable with gorgeous music and art. Make this one a high priority to play this year!

So, I'm doing a business podcast for work and I thought, "why not devote some time to a gaming one, too?"

So tomorrow morning, I'll be posting up the first episode of The Great Game Guide, featuring theme music I wrote and your weekly dose of me talking about obscure games!

I just couldn't resist.
