Hopefully consulting with European leaders and Allies to figure out a response to another situation that's well outside the rulebook. Although we do need to accept that the rulebook is out of date and we need to plan accordingly.

You hope he's consulting with the European leaders and other allies while they consider a beefier response. Very difficult to deal with Trump though, as ever. Easier to posture and condemn if you don't have to actually deal with him.

The fact that Di died when Dodi died, then Dando died and Doddy died is the reason Dido keeps a low profile these days.

This still makes me laugh.

Laphroaig is quite punchy. There are subtler Islay malts.

Corryvreckan is the name of a whirlpool in the western isles, near Jura, so a cool name. You're still supposed to steer clear of it.

Ardbeg is nice if you can get it. And Caol Isla.

I've been to the distillery I think. A good rainy day activity in the Highlands.

Rumours of price reductions in the UK when Trump's tarrifs start to bite next year. The small silver lining, for me at least, to a big orange cloud.

I know, that's what I meant, the Glenlivet is good but the Laphroaig is special :-)

Both good but I love an Islay malt.

My favourite Paddington is when he comes for you before you've even died.

Here he is ushering Liz Truss out of number ten.

Just enjoy the buffet, hopefully some light entertainment, dinner at the captains table, meet a couple of retired chiropodists from Florida.
