2️⃣ Despite the urgency, the UK is focusing on future plans—instead of action now. An 87% emissions cut in today's Carbon Budget 7 recommendation is great, but Budgets 4 and 5—taking us to 2032—need just a 1% average yearly reduction. This is too weak to drive real change.
