Hookaria Games and Goblinz Publishing launch a new demo with the help of LocQuest: Hold the Mine Hold the Mine is the new roguelike survival game from Hookaria Games and Goblinz Studio. Collect and manage resources, discover buildings with unique effects and unleash mighty heroes to hold monsters out of the mine. LocQuest localised the game into 10 languages (English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian Korean) A quote from Hookaria Games’ Director, Paci: “Localizing Hold the Mine was a big challenge, but the LocQuest team managed to deliver outstanding translation and invaluable localization expertise. Their work and advice were a huge help!” The names and roles of all the localisation managers and translators involved in localising the game.

But when the METR team looked at the employees’ actual work output, they found that the developers had completed tasks 20 percent slower when using AI than when working without it. The researchers were stunned. “No one expected that outcome,” Nate Rush, one of the authors of the study, told me. “We didn’t even really consider a slowdown as a possibility.”
