Often found on a golf course (the very nice one in the picture) Scottish & politically left of centre. Unhealthily good at MS Excel. Makes a decent espresso & sourdough pizza (gluten free options always available). 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏌️

This FIFA World cup draw is the most cringeworthy thing I’ve seen since Mick Fleetwood & Samantha Fox hosted the BRITS in 1989.

Looks like the price of hosting in the USA is this cringeworthy brown nosing of Trump.
Utterly nauseating & devoid of truth.

I dislike Streeting intensely. Untrustworthy. The NHS is not safe in his hands.
‘I did think there was overdiagnosis, that too many people were being written off, and too many people weren’t getting the support they needed.’
That’s 3 different things & 1 is false

Reform is funded by an intensely-private billionaire who lives in Thailand. I’m sure there’s nothing untoward to be inferred from that.
Support for Reform alone marks him out as a wrong ‘un.

Pure Snake Oil. I recall helping a sound engineer/producer friend relocate his professional studio. He asked me to cable up the main speakers (huge Tannoy cabinets). I was expecting some gold plated OFC leads woven by fairies. He handed me a reel of cheap BT telephone cable. It sounded phenomenal.

Had the misfortune to catch a bit of #politicslive at lunchtime.
Andrew Griffith just making crazy allegations unchallenged :”people drew down pensions & some left the country”
WTF. Because of a budget leak?
Pathetic, but Nandy was weak as Tennent’s in response. Labour really are shite at Politics.

I wonder if Trump’s increasingly diminished mental capacity is real or convenient?
Probably real, but Ernest Saunders springs to mind.
Trump simultaneously too far gone to face trial for any of the numerous allegations against him, yet smart, the smartest etc. when it comes to retaining power.

Copilot: ‘Sure - here you go’
Me: ‘It didn’t run’
Copilot ‘Stupid Human. YOUR script made the following error’
Me: ‘It’s YOUR script, not mine’
Copilot: ‘Here’s a corrected version fixing YOUR error’
Me: ‘Never mind, I’ll fix it myself’

Radio 6 is a tribute to all that is best at the BBC. It is inform, educate and entertain in musical form: Utter loveliness. And then they periodically allow the news department to mutilate it with these context-free anti-asylum bulletins, reminding you of all that's worst about the BBC.
Radcliffe and Maconie on BBC 6 music is one of my favourite things

Having it interrupted by breathless news bulletin telling me ‘government has banned taxis for asylum seekers’ *really isn’t*

New lines like ‘Home Office spent £1k over weekend on taxis’ would struggle to make a local newspaper

We’ll hear lots of figures in the Billions today & Reeves will aim to make as much political capital as possible. The Top 10 richest in the country all have over £12Bn each. We could take £10Bn from each, raising £100Bn & they’d all still have >£2Bn. Insane

Not sure why it’s taken so long to get traction but the more media outlets pick up on the fact that Nigel Farage has been blatantly racist & anti-Semitic since school days the better.
Nick Griffin ended his career by going on #bbcqt and displaying his true self. Farage got given a residency.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

I presume it’s now OK to call Nigel Farage a racist and anti-Semite, providing we don’t ‘do it in a hurtful or insulting way’?
He’s vile and should be excised from public life.

BBC news has shown extensive coverage today of the Select Committee into alleged bias. 1 case of alleged bias against Donald Trump leads to resignations & Select Committees. But years of pro-right wing bias, relentless Farage promotion & anti-Scottish Independence bias warrants nothing.

Ad is for a show on BBC. Which I already pay for. The most pointless advertising possible. Annoy a customer with an ad promoting something they literally cannot buy again. Utter Twats.
