This statement is a sick joke. US foreign policy is a sick joke, being implemented by enemies of truth, freedom & democracy - people driven by personal greed & the opportunity to exploit the suffering of others by trading US power and prestige for death & business opportunities.

look, this is unvarnished racism. It's not the first time trump has made his knuckle scraping bigotry so clear, but it is well past time for this to be called precisely what it is and for trump supporters to own up to it.

An awesome thing about being a journalist, and not a politician or advocate, is you can say true things even when they’re unpopular. For example, climate change is real, perpetrated by specific actors, harms many people, and should be resolved as fast and thoroughly as possible.
