This resonated with me bcuz like many others who may vote differently from their parents, this happened to me too. Several years ago when he still had his wits about him my dad made an offhand comment about me and my oldest sister and how he “had no idea how 2 of his kids ended up being so liberal”.

This photo stopped me in my tracks and is absolutely heartbreaking. Renee Good was a mom of 3 with a 6 yr old in school at the time. A tragedy no one should ever live through. We all have to reflect on what these ICE operations are doing to our humanity, safety and trust in govt.
