If they roll over this easily for trans women, then it'll be the same for gay women, or disabled women, or black women, or...

When people comply in advance, that is a CHOICE.

There's not even updated governmental guidance yet.

Please, do keep letting the WI/GG/Others know how you feel about it.

Fuck off. You have gutlessly capitulated to ultraconservative, extremely anti-woman forces, and turned off a big light in an increasingly darkening world.

For all of my life, GirlGuiding in the UK has been more progressive and inclusive than Scouting in the UK, being far more inclusive of queer people, atheists, etc. Scouting was always lagging behind. But it seems GGUK have followed Scouting's cowardice and are now banning trans members.

Awful.

A really funny bit on it is part of their justification for having an empty train run instead of allowing passengers on is because they believed that allowing passengers on would harm service performance

Plans to ban passengers from the peak train service between Manchester and London are abandoned.

I think at this point if you're including Diane Abbott - a woman who has never held government office, has been a backbencher since 2020, and is scarcely a government ally - on your list of political wrongdoers, we all know exactly what your real concerns are

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."

Oh look, a big TERFy cunt standing for labour again. Not happy with ruining the students union, she now wants to ruin things at Holyrood too.

I wasn't gonna vote SNP but I might have to in the constituency just to stop her, depending on who they select.
