I want to stress that making levels/mods not only count as game dev experience, but we can add them into the game itself and make it canon.

One thing that stands out in the responses i got was that genAI takes away the very thing that makes making a game so fun. It's fun and worthwhile to do BECAUSE it is hard, because the contraints force creative thinking, and that is in that tension point beauty is found.

As for what brought this up. I had stated that some games are only on PC and not console because there are lots of devs who submit a game for release on console and are just told "No". Some guy angrily insisted this never happens unless the game is porn.
