“Miller, April 28, 2015, 11:38 p.m. ET: Something tells me there is not a Calvin Coolidge exhibit.”

This is one quote from emails sent by Stephen Miller that show he is a racist hater.

It is not the most inflammatory one but the one I want to write about.

Stephen Miller’s Affinity for White Nationalism Revealed in Leaked Emails
In the run-up to the 2016 election, White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller promoted white nationalist literature, pushed racist immigration stories.

Trump: "I can create peace with tariffs. I'm using them for a lot of different reasons. If that power was taken away, it would be a terrible terrible day for our country. I would say many of the things I've done could be eradicated ... these are enemies of the country that are pursuing that lawsuit"

BREAKING: I just forced a vote with Senator Kaine to block the unauthorized boat strikes in the Caribbean.

In an important step forward, the vote was bipartisan, even if it fell two votes short.

I spent more than a decade at The Post. It was good to me and I was proud to work there. I’ve largely refrained from being critical since I left. But this framing of the special counsel probe is embarrassing and flatly wrong. Stunning, but not. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

This is exactly what I’ve been saying for sometime now.

They know they cannot win. They don’t seem to care. Why do you think that might be?

Trump said it’s himself before the last election. If you vote for me, you won’t ever have to vote again.

The list goes on and on. (I need to write a full article about it). The GOP is governing like a party that never expects to face a competitive election again, and when you look at all the options they have on the table, yeah, that's a reasonable assumption on their parts.

This is probably the end of freedom of speech and expression in the US.

Burning a flag is inciting a riot. Insulting Trump or a Republican is inciting a riot. Ditto blasphemy or being trans in public. Every action becomes a federal felony if the DOJ doesn't like it.

Once a regime unleashes hatred, the violence will follow. Once the violence is unleashed, there can be no telling how far it will go.

Just ask the Germans, the Cambodians, Ukrainians in 1930s, and so many others.

Maga unleashed the hatred years ago. Now comes the violence.

As I observed in my Substack Round Up this past week, the endgame of the military strikes against drug cartels in international waters is to lay the groundwork to use lethal military force against Americans at home. Pay attention open.substack.com/pub/asharang...

I know it's tiresome to play the "imagine if the parties were reversed" game, but thinking about how Republicans (and right-wing media) would be reacting if a Democratic-controlled House was refusing to swear in a newly elected *Republican* member may be the apotheosis of this particular meme.
