COMMENTARY: Aleppo’s fall has much to do with the Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s geopolitical maneuverings — particularly his irritation with Syrian dictator Bashar Assad for spurning a long-standing offer of reconciliation.

Two constants in the Middle East: Kurdish suffering and indifference to their plight--as well as to the Armenians. The world also said nothing when Nagorno-Karabakh was ethnically cleansed last year. Colonialism lives--but when it's not Western, few care.

It's very funny that we got 30,000 breathless op-eds about how supporting Ukraine risked over-stretching the decadent West, but it's Moscow and Tehran who have to tell Assad that the only support they can spare him is thoughts and prayers - and not many of either.

I would call this more of a "yes, and" answer, but still, the big-picture approach of analysis in this thread enables a more accurate understanding of what is happening and what to expect.
Non, "mais"
-Non parce que les rebelles syriens ont leur propre agenda : virer Bashar. Ils ont juste bien évalué la fenêtre d'opportunité liée à l'affaiblissement de l'axe iranien&Russe en Syrie;

GeoConfirmed SYR.

We apologize for the inconvenience: The SAA (Syrian Arab Army) is withdrawing faster than we can track with geolocations...

We are working as fast as possible to add all geolocated footage to our map.

Current developments in Syria have a scope which extends beyond just Assad. Any analysis that does not account for the long-term interests of (at least) Turkey, Iran and Israel in the region, is doomed to miss the mark.

I wish people were made to show receipts of their operations before casting blame.

How many doors did your team knock this cycle? This should be asked more.

Also a LOT of consultants get rich off Dem campaigns win/lose so there’s a huge financial incentive to blame others so they stay on payroll

As the platform continues to grow, I don't see public block lists staying as a feature. This is for several reasons, the main reason being that they are: (1) a platform-provided (2) public tool, that is already clearly (3) being used to target people (4) based on protected classes.
