When those Most Frequently Banned Books lists are all books from dead authors, it kinda suggests to me that they’ve accumulated an outsized amount of bans since they’ve all been around a long time, much longer than books by living authors. I don’t think William Golding needs your dollars right now.

There are some common misconceptions about Bluesky, so I've gathered receipts from the Bsky Team:

• Bluesky does not train AI models on users' images/data
• Bluesky is fully independent from Twitter
• Jack is not in control of Bluesky

Bluesky team member Rose: "We currently use Hive’s existing models to generate labels for images. Hive doesn’t use Bluesky account content to fine-tune their models. That said, Bluesky is a public social network and AI companies might be scraping data from the internet!"
