Ok, Keir Starmer, this is not a ‘difficult question’ if you have principles. A sovereign nation is just that (despite having a corrupt leader). You don’t have the right to invade. Stick to your guns -Venezuela, Ukraine, Greenland. US does not have the right to invade and capture.Stand up to bullies.

1. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk's shooting, the WSJ laundered claims that "transgender symbols" were found with the shooter's gun.

Now, a press conference reveals that NO such symbols were found.

Press Conference: No "Transgender" Or "LGBTQ" Symbols Found At Kirk's Shooting
Yesterday, several media outlets claimed or strongly implied that "transgender symbols" were found at the scene of the gun used by Charlie Kirk's shooter. This turned out to be false.

@bbcnews-world-rss.bsky.social what’s with calling Kirk ‘Charlie’ like he’s you bestie? He was a racist transphobe among other things. Please - report his killing by all means, but he was NOT a hero

The BBC is explicitly, consciously pivoting right to pander to a party with just 5 MPs.
Where's the outrage?
Where's the coverage?!
They are converting our national broadcaster into a mouthpiece for the far right and no one is doing anything about it!

"Will Nigel Farage be the next Prime Minister."
Let's hope not. He's an expert agitator. He was a useless MEP. He is a useless MP, and he would be a useless PM.
He doesn't want to do the actual work any more than Johnson did.

I hope Labour pay for this but I do worry that Reform will be the beneficiary from it….and then that’s a definite “frying pan into the fire” reaction
I think it’s hard to overstate the anger in parts of Wales that everything seems to be on the table with regards to saving steel making in Scunthorpe whereas this seemingly wasn’t the case for Port Talbot.

Just 12 months till the Senedd election.

Labour has a huge majority. With the United States increasingly chaotic and unreliable, now is surely the time for Keir Starmer to rejoin the EU Customs Union and Single Market?

To hell with referendums: use that parliamentary majority.

Every time a Labour MP is asked about Brexit, they trot out the same line; “We are not rejoining the EU” and the journalist accepts the answer and moves on. I suggest they respond with “Why? The majority of people are now in favour of rejoining so what is the problem?” I genuinely want to know.

Brexit has never looked quite so ruinously insane as it does right now. And it’s always been idiotic. Alone, outside the EU, needing to improve our relationship with our own continent but also terrified of the wrecking-ball lunatic in the White House. Cornered by our own ‘sovereign’ stupidity.
