So you want to post something to a social network, great!

Good, skillful questions to ask yourself:
• Is it true, and how do you know?
• Is it beneficial, and to whom?
• Is it timely?
• How could it be misinterpreted?
• Is your wording gentle?
• Are you posting with a mind of good will?

It's been a crazy day. Can't imagine what it must have been (and still is) for her!!
These things don't understand timezones and sleep needs. ;)

We had a lovely celebration today at ISB, for Mary.
Beyond the work and the prize, it is worth highlighting that Mary is always friendly, collected, thoughtful, and very humble.
Such a delight to see her recognized!!

Excellent. Made me wonder about a potential distinction between aged individuals that “show their age” in their gut, and aging individuals with a still largely young microbiome. FMT might have very different effects on them?

Atul Butte died yesterday.
The world lost a giant.
A big bear of a man.
With a huge smile.
With love for everyone.
With energy that could power a room.
I loved everything about Atul.
I loved how he was always happy.
I loved how excited he was about science and helping people.

This is superbly interesting. Quite clear evidence of theory of mind at work.

Youtube offered this to me today, likely because of my love for Hania Rani's music.
Büşra Kayıkçı's music is delightful!

When talking about cancer diagnosis (e.g., pathology on biopsies) positive results are indeed negative, and negative results are positive.
It is indeed very confusing. In fact, my first sentence could be read in two different ways…

HAPPY 75th, NSF!

We’re celebrating this milestone by highlighting some of NSF’s most transformative accomplishments—innovations that have shaped our world and continue to drive progress in health, technology, the environment, and beyond.

Read on 🧵(1/11):
A chocolate cake with red and white decorations and lit candles shaped as the number 75. Bold text reads: ‘The NSF Turns 75 Today. What has it done over the past 7 decades?’ The background is a celebratory red with a spray-paint texture.
