On the execution in Minnesota: Obviously, the individuals involved should be held accountable. But responsibility goes to the top of ICE and CBP, and DHS. Their appropriations come up next week in the senate. Not a cent for DHS without pulling ICE and CBP off the streets, in MN and everywhere else.

Q 1 is if this happened. it would not be a typical emoluments clause style ripoff the taxpayers. Far worse, it would be collusion w/ the DOJ which is supposed to vigorously defend against such lawsuit and that taxpayer's interests, and an amount untethered to any law.
We’re suing to expose records related to President Trump’s stunning effort to pocket $230 million in taxpayer dollars as a payout for investigations into his own misconduct.

This is about the young woman picked up around Thanksgiving and deported to Honduras. Yesterday, ICE showed up at her parent's house to intimidate them.
My constituent Any Lopez Belloza was wrongfully deported in shackles to Honduras without proper due process.

btw update on this: after my lawyers submitted our response to defense's request for summary judgement (which included 6 sworn declarations from USIP people who were present the day of the raid), MPD requested a two week extension to respond which the judge granted. response due this friday.
