Every time you hear Trump, Vance or a GOP leader talk about “illegal aliens” getting health care, remember they are trying desperately to dodge blame for an insurance premium jump about to hit 20M+ Americans

Also they are lying www.thebulwark.com/p/republican...
The Republican Shutdown Argument is a Giant Lie
No, Democrats aren’t trying to fund health care for “illegal aliens.”

Wrote this in The Sirens Call about mass shootings as the darkest, most violent form of extreme trolling and think it likely applies here as well.

At the end of a very intense interview, we asked Jerce if there was anything else he wanted our readers to know. He smiled and said, "Just that even with everything I’ve gone through, I’ll always be a fan of Real Madrid.”

Jerce was accused of being a gang member based on a Real Madrid-inspired tattoo and a "rock-and-roll" hand gesture he made on social media years ago.

For this, he was disappeared from the US and sent to one of the most infamous prisons in the world, where he endured "countless" beatings

After 6 incredible years, today is my last day at HuffPost.

I was blessed with the very best team - reporters who covered the hell out of a pandemic, mass civil rights movement in the streets, an election, an insurrection, and then the return of Trump.

One of the men @jessicaschulberg.bsky.social and I wrote about is Ysqueibel Yonaiquer Peñaloza Chirinos. He came into the U.S. legally, through the CBP One app. His family has worked tirelessly to secure his release from CECOT. Tonight, they got to hug him again. His mother Ydalys shares this video:
