I don't know when or how it will come, but there will be a moment when Trump's presidency is behind us and we're picking up the pieces of our democracy.

That can't be the first time we think about how we rebuild; that planning has to start now. Deep, structural court reform must be a part of it.

i see a lot of “what to do right now,” “what to do if we win power in midterms,” and “what to do post trump,” but 26-28 are absent from those discussions and probably the most important period!

Dunno man, seems a little misleading to write an article about Trump describing activity in Portland and Chicago as “insurrection” with a 33 year old photo of a burning donut shop taken in the 1992 LA Riots (sans caption explaining that) as the header on all your posts about it.

last week i picked out a sofa and went to buy it, but the delivery was 1-3 days and i wasn’t gonna be there to receive it in that window. so i was like, ill wait till get to nyc then buy it. did that this morning, just pushing checkout on my existing cart, purchased it…now eta is november 14-24. L

the thing about the big tent is we can debate its merits and successes as an electoral strategy, but it has been an abject failure as a governance strategy, and frankly what you do with power is more important than how often you win it. we are living through precisely why that’s so
