The reality of the mega clubs is there's always going to be a sizeable proportion of folks with expectations utterly untethered to reality, as well as a few bad faith actors thrown into the mix. The only way to briefly quiet them is to deliver a season that matches the wildest expectations.
One of the major things I’ve learned this summer is that there is a TON of underlying frustration/anger within the fanbase. It seems ready to turn on things at the first sign of adversity.

The kumbaya days of 22/23 are long gone.

How does Chido Obi feel after leaving for first team opportunities, watching MLS trusted over 2 legs against Real Madrid? With Merino up top and no striker on the bench.

Let this be a lesson to any youngsters considering leaving Arsenal.

Mikel Merino trodding the path of Kai Havertz:

Sign as a No8, struggle, go to Dubai, comeback as a striker and suddenly start scoring.

I see a manager not making excuses and giving it everything to squeeze every drop from these players. I see these players going flat out with nothing on the bench to help them, playing with issues. Is everyone upstairs putting in the same effort to help them and reinforce? Maybe. But I don’t see it.

Cold light of day, the number of injuries and the amount of energy Arsenal are putting into every game, every three days. I just can’t be hugely angry with players or coach. I think they’re short and they’re giving absolutely everything. The guys upstairs need to help them now. I need their energy.

Man. And that includes when they missed Ødegaard for City and went down to 10 for 45 minutes, missed Ødegaard and Rice for Spurs, Saka and Jesus for Spurs, Ø just a sub for the bridge, no Saliba or Ø for Liverpool.

Imma keep saying: underrated job being done here
