The most disturbing new trend in ICE behavior is agents escorting legal observers who are out patrolling our neighborhoods to their home, stopping, exiting the vehicle and pointing at their house. The message they're sending is pretty clear.

This person who successfully committed suicide (something which jails are supposed to protect against) was being held at a random Georgia jail through a contract with the U.S. Marshal Service, which let ICE use its network of contracts with local jails. This is not a big detention center.

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.
What will actually happen is that new car costs will NOT get any lower (they will probably continue to go up), the lower standards cars will pollute the environment and fuel global warming more, and car companies will just pocket the extra money saved on standards as profits while the world burns.
