The LED driver and serial circuit require transistors.
MOS used 2N5371 and 2N5375, in later KIM-1s a wider variety. A question in forum64.de in the Nachbau KIM-1 thread made me look at my KIM-1 retro.hansotten.nl/6502-sbc/kim...

I have collected some KIM-1's over the years. The first KIM-1 in 1978, and now I have nine original KIM-1s, from first edition to Rev A, B, D, E , 2x F, 2xG.
And several reproductions with 6532's as replacements.

Today I received a scan of a MOS Technology sheet with the chip equations of the MCS6530-044 and MCS6530-005 (thanks Scott Barnes!).
No CS1 and CS2, just I/O ports PB5 and PB6.

All passive components acquired and soldered on.
Keyboard assembled, will be connected via low profile pin connector.
Next step is testing power distribution to all IC sockets.
Then the Reset and NMI circuits with the 556 timer.

The keyboard changed from Rev B to Rev D, requiring new holes in the PCB and so some traces had to move. Note the change in style of the PCB layout, not curved but straighter lines.

I am not aiming for an exact replica, I want to test things with it, so IC sockets.
