Now seems like a swell time to point out that Frontline just released this excellent 11-minute mini-documentary about what happened inside CECOT.

We created a new tool that uses prescription label information to identify where your drug was made.

It also lets you see if and when that factory was inspected for quality and safety violations.

Try it out 👇
Where Was My Generic Prescription Drug Made? - Rx Inspector - ProPublica
The FDA won’t tell Americans where their generic drugs are made, so ProPublica did it instead. Use information on your prescription label to locate the factory and see inspection reports.

I've done some work assessing the accuracy of my CGMs (which you can read a little bit about here: type4.fun/2025/03/21/d...). My readings tend to be artificially high which can be equally dangerous in the extreme. The tech is a huge quality of life upgrade but still needs a lot of work.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month so I shared my story with the American Diabetes Association.

Diabetes education is so important. Even the ADA doesn't have a proper tag for my story, I don't have Type 1 but MODY wasn't available as a category.

This is my first Broadway play and first time seeing Waiting for Godot! It was a delightful way to celebrate my 40th. The Bill & Red reference got the biggest laugh! Kudos to @alexwinter.com , Keanu & crew!! Everyone was splendid and the set design was really interesting! Great show!

to me, the “column” is less a form than an opportunity (and a challenge). you’re telling me i have as much space as i’d like to make an argument about anything i’d like to an audience inclined to pay close attention? well let’s see if they’ll read 2000 words on democratic legitimacy. (gift link)

When Tucker Carlson is making sense about free speech and Karl motherfucking Rove is lambasting conservative rhetoric, you really gotta wonder what's going on behind closed doors in the party of small government.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

President Trump ordered a second military strike on narco-traffickers today. The first already raised new questions of POTUS’s expanded war powers and fears Trump can order strikes “whenever he likes.” And Congress still knows very little. More here: www.npr.org/2025/09/14/n...
Congress worries U.S. strike on Venezuelan boat signals Trump's expanded war powers
