Dear World:

We have no idea what the fuck is going on with our government.

We are baffled, shocked, bewildered and horrified.

We are also deeply ashamed and so sorry for the harm the people in power are causing all over the place.

We’re just…frozen and numb with horror.

That’s pretty much it.

Hilarious how Cooper Flagg takes over the scoring lead this week and the NBA wastes no time posting about it, while they only posted about Kon Knueppel leading the rookies in PPG all season once.. over a month ago.

Almost like, they really want Flagg to be recognized more than the other rookies.

The NBA's rookie leading scorer Cooper Flagg (24.4 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.5 APG in Dec.) and the Mavericks roll into Sacramento to face DeMar DeRozan (19.0 PPG) and the Kings.

One of the craziest things about watching NFL games now, is how it really feels like refs single out teams to penalize. The Carolina Panthers last two games have a combined 11 penalties against the Panthers for 100 yards, while the 49ers and Rams combined had 3 penalties for 11 yards.
December 1, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Love seeing the 49ers have 3 obvious holds on their first drive with nary a flag. Panthers second play immediately gets a flag for holding, kills the drive.

This is why it’s so hard to watch the NFL.

I know I’m naive but it is pretty wild that the president of the United States just publicly declares he and the military killed some guys on a boat, multiple times, and the entirety of Congress doesn’t immediately hit a giant red IMPEACH button

Let’s also not forget that he would lie in his debates. He would straight make shit up because he knew the college students he debated wouldn’t know enough about a certain topic to challenge him. And then use those videos to “dunk“ on them, for views and support.

Charlie wasn’t a debater. He lied.
NEW: No, Charlie Kirk was not practicing politics the right way. That's what Ezra Klein said. We can condemn this heinous assassination but also recognize that with his 2020 election denialism and extremist rhetoric, Kirk built his movement with falsehoods and in a wrong and divisive manner.
No, Charlie Kirk was not practicing politics the right way
His assassination deserves full condemnation; his full impact should not be sidestepped.

While I 100% agree that he did not deserve to die, I do not have to have sympathy for him. He was a vile man who had created some of the most vitriolic and divisive “political” content on the internet. I feel so bad for his children, as they do not deserve this loss.

But I won’t weep for Charlie.
Charlie Kirk called me a ‘lunatic’ and a ‘prostitute’ and demanded I be deported.

Nothing, *nothing*, justifies killing him, or robbing his kids of their dad.

We don’t know the identity or motive of the shooter but murder can *never* be the response to political disagreements.

Trump’s goal of renaming the Defense Department might require congressional action, but his administration is looking at other ways to rebrand the military.

This will never make sense to me. The “alien enemies act” they are using to deport Venezuelans says we have to be at war. Congress has to declare war. Even Trump could act like he could declare war and at least give it the optics.

But no. None of that happened and SCOTUS still let them do it.
I would say, "Unbelievable" but sadly cannot ... 😞

Right-wing politics has become so terrifying, because they honestly believe they are above the law and should be allowed to do incredibly illegal things and get away with it. They believe the courts should not be able to hold them accountable.

Then use massive propaganda networks to hold onto power
The thing about all these pieces complaining about Marine Le Pen's conviction is that not a single one of them bothers to explain why someone found guilty of embezzling millions of Euros from public funds should be allowed to get away with it

This is BS. Elon Musk wants the protections and the power of being an elected official without any of the repercussions that come from him being a public figure in office.

And the AG that is supposed to be protecting us from Trump, is protecting Trump and his boy toy Elon from us. I’m so tired.

I still can’t believe that Republicans can’t see that DOGE is only going after the public services that the average American uses. They’re not going after multi dollar subsidies to pharmaceutical companies or banks, and sure as hell not going after Elon Musk‘s billion dollar handouts.

Obviously Republicans propping up a loser isn’t anything new, but it takes skill to be that bad at something and find success around that failure. She “falls up” like almost no other.
