Here’s a colourful pair of gloves I’ve just made for my partner.
A pair of crochet mittens / hand warmers. They are made with multicoloured yarn which creates stripes of red, orange, yellow, green and blue.

Took my British husband to his first Pow Wow this summer, at the GoodStoney Nakoda Nation reserve. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
The colours and sound left him feeling far different than when he walked in.
First Nations Dancers from various Nations at Pow Wow, are hosted by the GoodStoney Nakoda people. It's a riot of regalia of feathers, 13 different drumming groups and ribbon skirts. All ages, they're dancing indoors in their arena on a green AstroTurf. Pow Wow is Medicine and the singing and drumming go right through you a d blesses you.
