As a chemist, we had to know what was floating in the air.
They do make dual cartridges for full and half mask respirators.
I'd recommend those because you are dealing with BOTH fumes and vapors.
If all you have is an N95, use it. It will get you out to safety.

You are going to be looking for welding respirators. You want P100 rated stuff.
I recommend reusable full face respirators with cartridges.
They also make disposable welding rated N95s.
