Well that's surprising. If only there was some way the BBC could've known this. Some clue in Trump's own history, perhaps, or the wider history of Britain trying to appease emotional foreign fascists. Anything at all that would've indicated that appeasement doesn't work.

I can see it plainly not being in their interest to raise the profile of a national hero and viable political challenger for obvious reasons.
Therefore I cannot rule out that they won’t rush headlong into the UCMJ equivalent of the Comey indictment fiasco.
This may make Kelly president in 2028.

I have a very hard time thinking that they’d actually go through with this. I don’t think anyone outside of Hegseth and Trump Actual would want to open this Pandora’s Box and the command investigation will be like, whelp, nothing we can do.
