Today is Human Rights Day.
Explore this infographic & ask:

Is it better to build & sustain a world with universal human rights or is it better to grow a weed bed of oligarchs, autocrats, and billionaires who suppress these rights to advance their gluttonous bottom lines & their perverse cruelties?

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

Ugh. The MAGA 6 in Roberts’ Court just keep doubling down on their white supremacist BS.

Though this aired in April, I finally had the time to listen to it today. And honestly, it was right on time.

What stage of defiance are you at w/this racist, christofascist regime? This convo & related book may help you track & advance your resistance.

I’m gonna need to listen to this again & really sit w/the 3 analyses. I had never considered that FDR & the New Deal would’ve felt like a constitutional regime change 4 conservatives since he won w/a super majority. FOTUS lacks the mandate but digs the playbook.

Well done so far (on episode 2 tonight) and I appreciate the attention to the role Indigenous and African American soldiers played in the Revolution.

This episode of Amicus features conversations w/the federal judge who retired in order to speak out, & the CA Attorney General. The conversations clarify the nature of the FOTUS Administration’s assault on the rule of law.

I highly recommend giving it a listen.

Another excellent and necessary listen, including interviews with a retired federal judge, an entrepreneur suing to challenge the FOTUS tariff shenanigans, and a thoughtful reflection on Civics à la an 8th Grader!

The GOP is petrified of Zohran Mamdani because they know once democratic socialism works here, as it has in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, they will never be elected again.

Republicans Continue To Be Oath Breakers….

This is not a “government shutdown”. It is a coup. Mike Johnson has effectively dissolved the US House of Representatives and handed the power of the purse over to the executive branch. What are we doing about it?

I would just like to ask the Republican Party to please put Stephen Miller in front cameras as much as possible from now until the midterms because he is such a likable & charismatic person with so many amazing & popular ideas for people who aren’t white Christian nationalists.

Neighbors helping neighbors. Family helping family. Food & money donations. Sharing what we have with others. All of these are good things.

But these "heartwarming" stories don't change the fact that Republicans and this lawless administration COULD FIX THIS AND WON'T.

What did people do before SNAP?”

They died.

Healthcare, vaccines, disability support, education & food assistance are vital to our survival.

They’re why the average lifespan isn’t 35 anymore

The mark of a good & decent society is whether it sees the value in helping others.
