I had a similar experience once flying from Boise to Chicago via MSP due to a verrry tight connection. As soon as I boarded, they shut the door. As soon as I sat down, we started moving.

"If this is so, which it is" is a really weird way to talk. There would be no need for the "if this is so" part if it were, indeed, so.

Of course "it" is not so. "It" is either a fever dream, a sign of cognitive failure, or an egregiously stupid attempt at gaslighting.
