This is only half the story though. A LOT of that support would disappear if you asked the question another way, eg "That hill up there is getting a big wind farm, is that good?". That's how Reform will get votes out of it. They're very good at making normal ideas sound stupid when it benefits them.

And Goodwin's wrong that it "asks people if they're English". Versions I've seen ask if you're Black/White/Asian etc then require you to enter an "origin", of which English is an example.
It's open to click (say) Black and enter English as an origin, and nowhere does it suggest origin=ethnicity.

Or to stop trolls from seeing which name looks likely to win and registering it first. The only practical thing I can think of is to register 4 or 5 parties, then take a vote for which one to use.
