I've noticed a lot of users are interested in joining some iteration of "resistance" to oppose fascists. Allow me to outline some first steps:

1. Cite your sources. And when someone asks you to, or when someone sources your claim for you, say thanks.

Fascists survive on mis- and dis-information.

Problem is the mayor of Broadview, where the ICE facility actually is, put a curfew on the protesters,

but didn't do anything about ICE or the state police that Pritzker sent in,

which he then pretended were helping when in actuality they were just assaulting protesters and working with CBP.

The only real solution I see is a fully open primary at every level possible.

House, Senate, White House.

We need new blood, and frankly we should just throw out the entire current batch. It's gone sour.

We have to understand the problem as if it isn't in the room.

We can't analyze it from inside.

Understand the fear, target the fear. The people will only turn the fear toward you, otherwise.

It's not about relative levels of sacrifice at all.

Suddenly, the natural system is surrounded by people challenging it (an act of love, an attempt to get them out of the cult they joined).

Those people must be un-natural, then. They must be the problem. They're our scapegoat. We just need to solve the _ problem and society will be fixed... right?

They can see that the system doesn't function, but lack the revolutionary optimism to reject said "natural" system.

They instead turn to nihilism, fascism,

& are groomed by nationalists, who offer them the exact "hierarchy is natural and you're a special boy for realizing it" messaging they want.
