people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙

With all the shit that's coming next year, I really hope bsky makes a big push to allow locked, private accounts. I know it's not easy, the protocol was not designed for it, but it's so important for some people's safety.

LRS: get a library card. Librarians are equipped with resources to help get you what you need. I walked people through burying relatives in Arlington, getting paperwork done for COVID shots, and finding someone to talk to during terrible times. In hard times, you want the resources in your pocket.
