jones family too broke this year to do any gifts, or even get a tree. the chinese food from last night got left in the microwave so we had to throw it out. but i helped my dad winterize the porch and we had some good soup and the vibes have been great all day. merry christmas everybody

the mainstream language of left activism in america is along the lines of "speak up" "say no to" "take a stand" etc. and the thing is that those things are so vague and reliant on credible power structures that weve lost our ability to appropriately respond to crisis
