Palestine Solidarity Campaign:

This week, Israel announced that it will prevent 37 aid organisations from operating in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. This will further intensify suffering in the Gaza Strip.

Also history: Black solidarity with Palestine is a major reason that in October 2023 there was a street movement ready to go in the U.S. The Movement 4 Black Lives made Palestine part of their published platform, which led to all kinds of accusations of anti-semitism against the movement for years.
Palestinians stood in solidarity with Black Americans in the aftermath of Mike Brown. They also painted a mural of George Floyd in the West Bank and rallied for him.

This is very important history and part of why we’re here today.
It also really bothers me cause Palestinians have been raising the Venezuela issue and I think even protested in the aftermath of George Floyd and other police brutality in the us. Meanwhile people here are like “why bring them up?”

Children in #Gaza are still living in dire conditions.

They should be warm, well-nourished and feel safe enough to look towards their future.

They urgently need more humanitarian aid. UNRWA and other aid organisations are still working and ready to scale up.

Restrictions on aid must be lifted.

Winter weather in #Gaza is harsh and the needs are immense. More aid must be allowed in to help people live in dignified and safe conditions.
