Short answer: HBO is rushing.
Long answer: the VFX were probably done in 1080p and there's no good record of which shots have effects, so the team has to rebuild them manually. They probably have <a week to remaster each ep, and they are missing shots.

HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men and they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right

I've decided that the "thank you for your attention" signoff is when he knows he's being a vindictive little shit and he's making decisions based on vibes and anger, but wants to make it sound like a considered kingly proclamation. Kind of like when he sticks out his chin to look stately.
