Dear Dems. This is a reminder that Donald Trump rescinded the ethics rules preventing gifts to executive branch employees.

Now would be a good time to propose legislation formalizing the prevention into a law

Time to do things that make him react to you.

I love their Latin motto - “We know what you read and we don't say it.”
This moose remembers the Guild of Radical Militant Librarians artwork that the Patriot Act spawned. Well done, all of you. 3:O)>

When the Patriot Act was passed, libraries got requests for patrons’ borrowing history. We were prohibited from disclosing those requests.

We deleted and shredded those records and stopped tracking reading history for that reason.

Dear Chuck Schumer,

How will you be addressing the fact that trump has removed main stream media outlets from the Pentagon offices and replaced them with right wing neo-nazi media like Breitbart?

Fuck the pizza. How about preventing the atrocities that are coming.

FFS.
You’re watching the Super Bowl next week.

Wait till Trump’s tariffs raise your pizza prices.

My Favorite Things Knitwear Cardigan no 6… a really fun knit. I’m using Purl SoHo’s Tussock (60/40 mohair silk) and it’s super light weight. I’ve slightly deviated from the pattern in that I knit a double knit button band to give the ceramic buttons I’ve chosen more support.

I just read a book where humanity's innate flaws, magnified by DNA alteration to intensify every characteristic related to longevity, disease resistance, strength, and intelligence, proved to make us more quickly extinct, not more quickly perfect.

What worked to save humanity?

I'm always encouraging people to photograph black cats against colorful backgrounds but sometimes black backgrounds and low light create cool photos too. Especially if the cat has some white on them. This is Onie in low light (table lamp) looking at a moth on the ceiling.
