We've never had democracy. This all being allowed to pass because they have a 4 year majority so no one can do anything to stop this. Electing someone every 4 years and hoping they act in the public interest with almost no recourse for us to do anything is inherently undemocratic.
The government handed half a billion to a steel company only for them to layoff 1000 workers within less than a full business day. And no one said shit and it just disappeared like it never happened makes me sick. This was 3 days ago and not a peep about it from anyone.
