The phlebotomist needs venous blood. Your cat extracts capillary blood. Ask for a finger stick next time and see what they say. Alternatively - drink more water and lift weights with your arms. It really helps.

since the part where the familiar with speech can telepath with any creature it shares a language with, i would rule it would be about speech-speed, even if they are just sharing emotions/images without speech, but if you want to allow it to be a bit faster i doubt it would be game-breaking

if it is telepathy like the monster ability (2e.aonprd.com/MonsterAbili...) that specifically states they must share a language and is same info as speech, presumably that means same speed as talking.
