After much thought, I have deactivated my Twitter account after something like 17 years. The only drawback is that I can no longer proudly say “Barack Obama follows me on Twitter”, which oddly, he did. Of course, if he wants to follow me on Bluesky, that would be lovely.

#USA is not at war with #Venezuela unless and until it is authorized by an act of Congress.

Until then, it is an unconstitutional action of 47 involving the DoD in an illegal move in Venezuela.

The people of USA have not authorized a war. Far from it.

If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.

But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

In 1887, British forces kidnapped & exiled the King of Opobo in today’s Nigeria. British Palm oil traders had persuaded the government that the tariffs he imposed restricted their profits. It was a milestone in the Scramble for Africa and indirect rule by Britain.

European weakness on full display by these horribly contorted responses from Merz, Macron and Starmer - neither condoning nor condemning US actions in Venezuela

Such weakness only risks making the Europeans more vulnerable (ie Greenland)

Nazis use lies as a weapon, to switch the roles of victim and attacker.

When Hitler attacked Poland, he claimed it was self defense.

When Putin attacked Ukraine, he claimed it was self defense.

When Trump attacked Venezuela, he claimed it was self defense.

Nazis always blame their victims.

Iran. Venezuela. Nigeria. Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Pakistan. Somalia. Syria. Yemen.

Not to mention threatening to annex Greenland and Canada and invade Panama.

Three million people live in Caracas, five million in the metro area. It's one of the densest cities in South America. Remember this in the morning when they try to spin this as anything other than a cold-blooded attack on a major civilian center.

Venezuela now, because he wants the oil.

He wants the oil under Greenland too. And under Canada. He's openly called for them to be part of the USA.

How long before he decides to bomb a couple of NATO members to get his own way?

The USA is a rogue nation.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

But he still charges Wind Farms to rent worthless seabed that he 'owns'.

The result £200m a year to him and you pay it on your Energy Bill.

Meanwhile, Trump's regime has also scrapped enforcement actions against over 160 corporations accused of misconduct.

The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. It’s astoundingly anti-Christ.
