Punk rock kid all growed up, now some sort of journalist and a photographer.
Warning: iOS 26 icons look like a TV still with its motion smoothing factory setting still on.

They should rename it from Liquid Glass to 2010 Soap Opera.

Look. If AI and large language models were as good as we’re told and sold, you wouldn’t be getting spam emails, texts, or calls.

At this point, the dictionary definitions of socialist, communist, terrorist, and immigrant should change to “someone I don’t like.”

Stop complaining about people putting Xmas decorations up so soon.

The country is in the gutter, people are anxious. Let people have something to look forward to.

Why do pampered billionaires that clearly couldn’t change light bulb insist on cosplaying as working men?

Because the French Revolution. That’s all. That’s when the rich patriarchy stopped wearing impractical clothes as a flex. That’s why ‘quiet luxury’ is a thing now. It’s camouflage evolving.

The East Wing is where the First Lady’s office used to be.

Says a lot.

If AI is so great, why does spam get through the filters?

You would have thought with the hundred of billions circling the AI bubble, that one could actually improve general quality of life.

It’s not arrogant to assume everyone you meet is not as smart as you. As long as you add the addendum: Unless proven otherwise.

America is going to end up having a Nuremberg equivalent.
How hard is it to say “invading an American city with the US military is treason and the second we have power we will prosecute anyone who gave or obeyed an illegal order”

Safe assumption: Republicans really do hate women.

Yet I can’t stomach a whole Harry Potter book. My working theory is that adults that like Harry Potter books haven’t discovered Terry Pratchett yet and have a lot of happiness ahead of them.

175 books read career could make you an expert on a big series or two I guess.

I read that before I finished high school and I’m no expert. Maybe because I overdosed on the entirety of Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High, and Biggles.

Yes. Sweet Valley High. I’m broad minded.

One video involved a young person going to a bookshop so a book expert could find a recommendation for her.

The sell for the book expert being an expert was that they had read 175 books. They were in their early twenties.

Age doesn’t matter but 175? That’s not even an expert on one genre.

Book culture on the internet is weird. Tier lists, obsession with tips to read more, and people claiming Dune is readable.

By letting the government suppress free speech in the form of TV hosts, the conservative politicians and voters cheering it on are making a big bet that there won’t be a Democrat administration willing to follow the precedent.

I’m finally going to take another run at Canterbury Tales. Honest. I have it right here. Again.

This is long-awaited death of TV, but via the death of free speech as well as corporate greed.

Kimmel could form his own production company and leverage his audience and industry contacts and make his money on YouTube alone.

Why do liberals keep printing the Charlie Kirk quote "Joe Biden is a bumbling, dementia-filled Alzheimer's, corrupt, tyrant who should honestly be put in prison and/or given the death penalty for his crimes against America" without putting it in context?

Trump administration has labeled Antifa as a domestic terrorist group.

Let that sink in. Atifa, as in Anti-Fascist, has been labeled a terrorist group.

It’s not even a group but the right doesn’t like anti-fascists that much it wants power to imprison. To imprison anti-fascists.

Make no mistake. This is the federal government chilling free speech.

Kimmel’s show stopped hours after being threatened by FCC to have license removed because Trump doesn’t like Kimmel and, like Colbert’s case, ABC is seeking a merger the government can block.

This is fascism in action.
