Ein Mann und eine Frau im Restaurant, die Frau isst grade etwas, das aussieht wie Fleisch. Mann (abfällig): "Pfff, Veganer Steak. Wieso nennt man sowas noch Steak?". Ein Kellner kommt, stellt dem Mann ein Glas hin und sagt: "Ihr alkoholfreies Bier."

Absolutely. When I was on my Erasmus year in France, I encouraged my French friends to correct my French - but not after 10 at night.

And when they've caught their breath, you might explain that, when we were in the first (or second) flush of youth, it was necessary to make a telephone call to a building in the hope that the person you wanted to speak to was in it.

Very fair synopsis, Bill. Just been listening to it after the No Prayer episode.

I find that I need to be in a certain mood for this album - much of the material is, as you say, "plodding" and "ponderous".

Having said that, I think Sign Of The Cross is one of the best things Maiden ever did.
