Fair enough! I appreciate civil dialogue, even if we don’t agree.
Long but worthwhile read.
Stephen Miller is employing state terror in service of the open goal of shifting the ethnic mix of the country. In numerous ways he's doing this at the expense of public safety.

We spent weeks reporting on Miller's real aims. Here's the result. We hope you'll read:

Worthwhile read
In February, Elon Musk posted on his site that another lawyer and I are “undermining civilization.” He asked if we suffered childhood trauma and concluded by suggesting we are suffering from “generational trauma.” This was my response.

"Doing so will ensure that the American people can hear the facts directly from Mr. Smith, rather than through second-hand accounts."

Somewhat surprised at the projection in left for the Red Sox. Maybe it’s because Anthony is young, or maybe Zips assumes it will be mostly Duran.

The holes at 2nd and 3rd also stand out.
Here's an early look at the ZiPS x @fangraphs.com depth chart for the next team to go in ZiPS, the Boston Red Sox.

After the Contreras trade, the comments saying the Red Sox must not have a plan, other than saving money, because they haven’t signed a FA, let alone one of note.

I think their behavior suggests they do have a plan, but they aren’t comfortable telling people what it is because fans, who always

These polls have minimal meaning. Trump’s power does not depend upon the majority. He needs his hardcore base + Trump friendly independents + apathy towards voting by the others who might not like him. This last group is large and I suspect drives the results we see in these polls.

Shouldn’t all the tension around 1st and 3rd bases for the Red Sox this off season highlight the fact that they haven’t developed a pipeline for corner infielders? Casas was, and maybe will still be, the guy at 1st but they haven’t had plan B. And nothing at 3rd.

The comments from Red Sox fans about the failure to sign Alonso are hilarious.

Stating the obvious - the Red Sox need to trade Yoshida. He’s a roster problem. They need to open the DH spot and can use the 40 man spot on a better fit. Eat the $ and move on.

Several good scenarios become possible.

I don’t understand why the Red Sox didn’t give Grissom a shot at 2nd last year. If for no other reason than to help him develop trade value. They clearly weren’t interested.

This take on the Red Sox trading for Sonny Gray is close to how I see that deal. I’d add that Gray also gives Tolle, Early et al a year of development. One could become a young #2. If not Breslow will buy or trade for a starter when baseball resumes in 26/27.

The Red Sox's Sonny Gray trade is as much about the future as it is 2026
Craig Breslow stunned Boston Red Sox fans when he traded for Sonny Gray. The move has had mixed reviews from Red Sox Nation, with some seeing the declining numb

This is so far outside the bounds of rationality that I’m skeptical it’s not staged. If it is real, wow.
On “The Necessary Conversation” podcast, Chad’s Trump supporter parents tell him the military should follow Trump’s illegal orders and kill everyone in LA if Trump commanded it — even with him and his sister in the city😳

How predictable was this? Law enforcement must be identifiable and transparent.
In NYC, criminals posing as ICE agents tied up a restaurant worker and bagged their head.

Trump’s policy of militarized, masked raids doesn’t stop crime. It encourages it.

Real ICE agents must identify themselves and stop turning law enforcement into a tool of fear. Public safety isn’t a costume.

Negative framing on Red Sox Duran. Cora says he likes him and Duran certainly brings energy and a unique skill set.

That said, he probably will get traded, but not because the Red Sox see him negatively. They have 4 starting outfielders and he makes the most sense to trade.

I’m am dying! Even the name of the website Trump posted about should have been a clue!
With a “WOW!,” President Trump posts a claim about DOGE and “royalties linked to Obamacare” that originated on a satirical website. That site’s own About section reads: “Everything on this website is fiction… If you believe that it is real, you should have your head examined.”

Just tracked down the current Uniform Player Contract. It’s Appendix A to MLB’s Collective Bargaining Agreement that expires next year. Got interested because I wanted to understand how the end of the CBA would affect player contracts.

Ended up thinking about the Devers situation with the Red Sox.

Fair grades. The future looks promising for the Red Sox. The outfield should be stellar. Pitching behind Crochet looks promising. And catching should be solid.

The infield is the question mark. Mayer and Casas have injury histories. Campbell’s future is cloudy. And there is no 3rd base pipeline.
