Lots of people disparaging this list but I seem to be the only one doing it due to the absence of Hi-de-Hi!

1. Friends
2. Only Fools & Horses

Grimstink is a month and a day old so
I made this shoddy edit of some of the things people have said about it so far

Went in @waterstoneskids.bsky.social Stockport to sign their Grimstinks. It’s the first shop I’ve been in to do this, meaning that for now it’s the ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD with signed copies for sale

Today I promoted my book to my 350 Strava followers, most of whom don’t speak English. Can anyone beat that for a futile marketing strategy?

Man, I miss Code 404, I think it's time for a little rewatch of all 3 seasons, eh ? :]
(If I knew how to embroider, I'd make myself the same sweatshirt as Alison)

New series of Not Going Out starts this Friday at 9pm on BBC1. Co-written by Lee Mack and me, which is to say that I write the scripts and Lee writes his name in at the top

Very grateful to @jacquisydney.bsky.social for her kind and thoughtful review of Grimstink, even if she does seem worryingly on board with the idea of obliterating Planet Earth

This bad boy (and he is a very bad boy) comes out two months today. The absolute best way of getting a copy is to preorder from your local bookshop, which in my neck of the woods means the brilliant @bforbutterflybooks.bsky.social or sensational @serenitybookshop.bsky.social

Chuffed and grateful that the very first response to Grimstink is as generous as this
What a story! It's got it all: goodies, baddies, love, sibling jealousy, aliens, annihilation of Earth and friendship. There are twists and turns that have you guessing the whole way to the end and then there's the humour. It's laugh-out-loud funny in places. @idanielpeak.bsky.social
