Best Initiative system? Get your players sited around the table clockwise from highest Agility/Speed/Dexterity/Reflexes to lowest and then make your turns clockwise. Then add the NPC’s turns in between theirs.

Is this a good thing? the more they screw up, the better all the other games and companies do. The OGL scandal was quite a boost for the whole industry, new games like Draw Steel, Daggerheart and many more are the result of it.
