I miss tie-in video games based on movies/tv shows. Now everything is just shoved into Fortnite without a single thought or flourish. It's so hollow and low effort I can't even laugh at it.

I love horror and don't scare easy, but these are two that I read recently that really got to me.
The Outsider is gripping and horrifying in a way that feels all too real in today's world. The Luminous Dead is a descent into madness through extreme isolation and the limits of self-reliance.
