Of course they did. Everything this administration releases is infused with lies alongside adulation of their orange false god.
The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

And the generation of their teachers - at least four of us who were U Iowa grad students in 1991, and were activists with the survivor of that mass shooting, have gone on to teach at campuses where we and our students had to take shelter during a shooting on the new campus.
Just saw a Parkland survivor post about being on lock down at Brown University.

We've failed generations of kids with our gun fetish

<gurrr>😖
This has potential for some good trouble for the OU students.
From the Oklahoma U student paper: the school is now saying it will automatically suspend faculty (with pay) in response to student complaints

Oh, yes - “that” special.
Notice that not only Franklin was seated by himself, he's the only one in a lawn chair. They wouldn't let a brotha sit on the good furniture!

Franklin ain't having it, y'all!😂

Oof. Yeah, that alignment is quite clear.
The Kremlin had to exhibit self-control to praise this only after it was published.
"Russia has welcomed Donald Trump's new US National Security Strategy, calling it "largely consistent" with Moscow's vision."

Yup.

That decision was never about the “good of the American people,” or whatever tripe he peddled in announcing that decision.

What was right for Agnew, was right for Nixon - this clear to us even in high school as the events played out.
imagine US political culture if Ford hadn't pardoned Nixon, and instead he went to jail

I say we just go with this as the all purpose statement in remarking about him: “Donald doesn’t understand.”
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS???

Drug prices are down 500 percent… what used to cost $100, now the pharmacy is paying you $400 …

It means Donald doesn’t understand how percentage works!!!

This.

Anyone there @us.theguardian.com? @pbsnews.org?
Has a single reporter asked anyone on Team Trump about why it's OK to bomb little boats that "might" have drugs on them while pardoning one of the biggest drug dealers we've managed to convict?
Maybe I missed it, but has even one Republican in Congress spoken out against Trump’s corrupt pardon of a guy convicted of helping funnel more than 500 tons of cocaine into the U.S.?
November 30, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Having another reporter’s back when they’re under attack by powerful forces - whether politicians or bombs, seems a basic tenet of journalistic ethics - if not basic human integrity. (Or so I learned as a new Watergate-era reporter.)
Real men don’t punch down, and they especially don’t punch down at women.

This mashup of Trump’s disgusting attacks on female reporters — the same reporters who consistently show the most courage. And it’s past time for the other reporters in the room to have their backs!

Yeah, that - and all the cronies who are divvying up the assets for their future power grabbing war chests.

Open a beer, brew some tea, take a breath, and settle into this bloody brilliant essay that isn’t a goddamn obituary nor an elegant elegy - it is the best sort of witness two friends can share with the world as each steps into new, different simultaneous moments together.

Such a rich thread, such a rich legacy. My also heart hears a beloved great uncle who told me about his WWII white tanker division and the Panthers, the segregated units facing down the fascism of their era, and the racism the 1960s Panthers confronted.

Yes, always local elections - and local media - are basics that matter.
You know what tonight proves more than anything else? Local elections matter.

Local. Elections. Matter.

Again and again, they show us who they are: fascists and eugenicists, cruel and toxic.
Share this video. Every American needs to see it.

Trump's masked forces seize this blind US citizen, Quinn Haberl & brutalize him. Then they called this guy who was simply dancing outside their facility, a rioter. The Trump administration is corrupt & violent.

OMFG - Even Outlander or John Jakes’ “Kent Family Chronicles” series (published during the US Bicentennial 50 years ago) offers “corrector” history than anything this administration scripts.
I know it’s too much to expect them to know their history, but if the American Revolution had a motto, it definitely would not have been “immigrants go home.”

It would have been “get your fucking soldiers out of our cities.”
America... boy, I dunno.
October 28, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Yup. That works.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

So many elements of these “agreements” are deplorable, but it’s this part that makes my heart skip beats and my head scream 😱

“The president will have to personally certify that the university is in compliance each quarter.”

This.
The near daily barrage of deadly mass shootings in America feels like low level warfare against normal citizens who just want to live in peace. And because people keep electing Republicans who won’t do anything about it there’s no solution in sight.
