Even though I sadly haven’t read it yet, this is still quite exciting news.

I wonder if First Law will make it to the screens.

Dear Google,
When you do it like this, another step between my email and my password, my perfectly brewed "type email", "tab" and then "password" is disturbed beyond any fucking words.
Don't do this. There are better ways to treat a user.
I know "why" you do this, but there are better ways.

It's probably going to take a bit of a while before I go back to sharing HN threads around #org-mode, but that doesn't mean I don't want to *always* advertise HN as a (sometimes) healthy source of a daily dose of "let's stay relevant" reads.

That was a nice bite size remedy for my lack of an understanding of AT.
Bluesky's AT Protocol: Pros and Cons for Developers
Should developers build on Bluesky's AT Protocol? It has a compelling identity and content architecture, but decentralization is a grey area.

Who does not? I'm not going to be playing silly games just to be looking at my phone without reason. (Lies, I will)
Turns out I still need something on my phone to look at.

Oh dear, I already do have a few use cases for this and had no idea.

A good few lines of code to get deleted soon 🔥
laravel has this "toOthers" method that literally broadcasts an event to everyone except the user who triggered it. 🤤 are you kidding me? laravel, you're the GOAT… 🐐

Well, not for the rest of us who has less than 10 followers.

Also, sorry to be popping your notifications with each interaction.

Nope. I'm not sorry 😬
we really need aggregate notifications for things like this lol
Bluesky is wild because I can log on and see that I have 30+ new notifications, and they're all from the same person.

I truly wish I'd built up a more comprehensive following list here when the US elections are only a day away.

Would've been a natural whitelist/blacklist.

Second or third time over attempting to feel this way.

That does not mean Twitter (or whatever letter) felt that way, it was just familiarity.

I'll be very much sold for a familiar feeling.
Bluesky actually makes me like social media again. I’m having fun geeking out and connecting with folks over shared interests?? And it’s so wholesome and I have no anxiety around it. This is how it should be 😭 I hope it stays this way 🥹🩷

Well, looks like we're here.

This time, I'm going to make it stick.

Because... fuck Elon.

- Command to generate from a stub ✅
- Get your markdown in ✅
- Deploy ✅
- Post published ✅

Simple as that, thanks to laravel.com/docs/10.x/fo... for the automatic routing, spatie.be/index.php/do... and commonmark.thephpleague.com for the markdown stuff.

Am I static enough yet? 🎸 🎩

If you're interviewing a developer or hiring a consultant and they tell you that Laravel is only good for prototyping, consider it a red flag. It suggests they've never used Laravel for a real-world application and are unwilling to try it. 👍🏻
