"Infamous, teflon-coated shitposter." "Dishonest, despicable raging c*unt." "That typical online trans."
On January 19th many Regal movie theaters across the U.S. will be showing Get Out. The chain has been showing old movies with a new one each day for a few months now. Get Out is not just a great film but something great to see with a crowd so consider going if you have the time and money.

Hey anyone else remember when Jonathan Chait platformed children identifying as attack helicopters and rocks as if it were a real thing?

Should also be noted that he did no effort to vet this whistleblower whatsoever, whose supposed participation at the clinic has been thoroughly debunked since.

I think it matters to not get too caught up. This is my take on the dude.

Dec 31st - Hundreds of Beavers

Closing out the new year showing the all-time great comedy to a friend.

Dec 29th - Carol

Still one of my favorite films. I will continue to insist that this is not just a real Christmas film but one of the most relevant and sincere ones since it's about, among other things, not allowing your pain and deserved anger to destroy something good you've built together.

Dec 26th - The Princess Bride

What a sweet little treasure this film is.

Dec 25th - Marty Supreme

Me at the start: Man this Marty guy is a douchebag who is fucking over all his friends.

Me at the end: Man all of those friends sure deserved to get fucked over.

Also, I've always thought Timothy Chalamet looked like a weird fuckboy and it works well in this role.

Dec 23rd - No Other Choice

Excellent craftsmanship, quite funny, but I just felt something was missing. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's a cultural disconnect.

This one works too, I suppose.

I'm sure this can easily be adapted to the Halo fandom.

"They think we're too stupid and too busy to know what's happening until it's too late. What they likely do know is that our elected officials are in way over their heads. I'm here to say that it is okay to admit when you are in over your head."

"Are taxpayers footing the bill for our officers to act as private security for a major corporation that can surely afford its own?"

I can answer that. Yes and no. For decades now it has been commonplace for many cities to effectively rent out police equipment and officers to private businesses.

To the crowd: "I am very proud of all of you. I am proud to be part of this community and I hope you continue to show up."

To the council: "I need you to be here for these people like they're being here for themselves."

"This is two days before Christmas in the middle of the holiday season when people should be at home with their families so all power to the people."

"Last time I checked I lived in New Jersey - the Garden State."

"I only found out about this two weeks ago and I said 'well I guess I'll show up to that meeting, see what it's about. Well, I did a little research before and I learned a whole lot more tonight and I can't say I support this at all."

A local environmentally-conscious small business owner talking about their efforts to be sustainable while the people of her city get bullrushed by Big Tech.
