Sorry, -13 turnover differential. It was a 22 turnover difference from Winston to Brady. -13 turnovers to +9 turnovers. They went 11-5. I'd say 5.5 turnovers is the difference between a win and loss in most games.

Those Bucs were a great team. They then added a Hall of Fame QB and two HoF receivers

That Tampa team was stacked, though. 7-9 with a -22 turnover differential. All they needed was any QB who protects the ball and they were basically guaranteed to go to the NFC championship. Brady threw a ton of picks but then LeFleur made the single worst coaching decision in NFL history.

There's probably something to it and it's probably useful to a degree but it seems like everyone aware of it who believes in it overstates it severely to the point of wildly dehumanizing others.
