FBI agents assigned to Musk concluded he was systematically avoiding conduct standards imposed on those holding high-level clearances. FBI management concluded it could do nothing about this because of Musk's ties to Trump and the GOP.

And fun extra: back when I was in high school, I read about a 3/4-ton sow that guarded a California pot farm. She nearly killed two DEA agents and turned over their car, and they only got out by feeding her weed (she lived for buds) until she passed out.

I read about a pig farm that would get uncooked biscuit dough rejects from a Pillsbury factory, big lumps of dough. The pigs would chew dens in the dough, climb inside, and then wait for starlings.

i have met a number of pigs, including pigs i later went on to eat (we have small farmers in our family) and quite frankly, getting to know pigs has made me feel even less bad about eating them

I really like JB Pritzker but he's far, far away from becoming the president. Even if relatively fair election takes place in 2028, it's doubtful Pritzker will win the Dem primary, none of the polls show him leading.

I think the answer to most people of the time for why Nixon was 'different' is that the federal government basically got completely remade under FDR both in status and in what it actually represented. There was a deep love of liberal values, untilt hose values meant locking up a president lol

I think most historians would pretty comfortably say that once Ford pardoned Nixon because he thought he'd do better electorally, it was all downhill irt personal corruption lol.
